It arrives frozen and it is fine if they are thawed as long as they are still cool to the touch because there is no air in the bags you can toss them straight into the freezer. If any of the bags arrive un-vacuum packed from rough shipping your going to want to eat those first. I would recommend a full box, so there is no extra space in the boxes. We have a 10# box, (which if your order 10# or more you get free shipping) a 25# box & a 50# box. Let us know if you have any more questions.
